Unlocking Student Potential Through Transformative Learning Webinar
May 3, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am
You are warmly invited to attend an overview of Qedex’s Transformative Educator Program (TEP) inspired by the Transformative Learning initiative at the University of Central Oklahoma and its positive impact on faculty, student retention rates, and student success in the classroom & workplace.
May 3rd (9AM PT, 10AM MT, 11AM CT, 12PM ET) | 50 minutes
As higher education grapples with a shifting student demographic, increased numbers of adjunct faculty, and growing skepticism about the value of a college degree, we see the TEP as a timely, effective, affordable, and accessible way to address these challenges. Participants will receive supporting data, take-away resources to support instructors on your campus, and details about upcoming faculty cohorts in the TE Program which includes access to MERLOT’s e-portfolio platform.
Transformative Learning has been around for decades (Mezirow, 1978; Cranton, 2006) but there’s been a renewal of interest in recent years as a result of measurable impacts that demonstrate its capacity to advance teaching and learning (in the US and abroad).
