SUMMARY:Unlocking Student Potential Through Transformative Learning Webinar
DESCRIPTION:You are warmly invited to attend an overview of Qedex’s Transformative Educator Program (TEP) inspired by the Transformative Learning initiative at the University of Central Oklahoma and its positive impact on faculty\, student retention rates\, and student success in the classroom & workplace. \nMay 3rd (9AM PT\, 10AM MT\, 11AM CT\, 12PM ET) | 50 minutes \nAs higher education grapples with a shifting student demographic\, increased numbers of adjunct faculty\, and growing skepticism about the value of a college degree\, we see the TEP as a timely\, effective\, affordable\, and accessible way to address these challenges. Participants will receive supporting data\, take-away resources to support instructors on your campus\, and details about upcoming faculty cohorts in the TE Program which includes access to MERLOT’s e-portfolio platform. \nTransformative Learning has been around for decades (Mezirow\, 1978; Cranton\, 2006) but there’s been a renewal of interest in recent years as a result of measurable impacts that demonstrate its capacity to advance teaching and learning (in the US and abroad).\n \nREGISTER HERE:\nhttps://www.qedex.org/transforming-education/ \nPresenters:\nJeff King\nAssistant Vice President of Transformative Learning\,\nUniversity of Central Oklahoma \nKatherine Whitaker\, Dean\, School of Business and Entrepreneurship\, Division of Academic Affairs\,\nVoorhees University \nLinda Bloomberg\,  Associate Director\, Faculty Support and Development\,\nSanford College of Education\, National University \nStuart Blacklock\, CEO\, Qedex \nFacilitator:\nHoag Holmgren\, Chief Innovation Officer\, Qedex \n\nKind regards\,\nHoag Holmgren\nwww.qedex.org
